Consilium

Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 2026

Draft — this document will be reviewed by a privacy lawyer before the service opens to the public.

We want everyone — including people with disabilities and older family members — to be able to use Consilium easily and independently.

Accessibility level

  • The site follows the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations 2013 and Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
  • The site is tested automatically (axe-core) on every update, and in Chrome, Safari and Edge, on desktop and phones (iPhone and Android).

What we implemented

  • Full Hebrew, Arabic, English and Russian support, with the correct text direction for each language and the page language declared.
  • Full keyboard navigation, a "skip to content" link and a clear focus indicator.
  • Labels on all form fields, descriptions for icon-only buttons, and error and status messages announced to screen readers.
  • Colour contrast to the standard; a high-contrast mode in the accessibility menu.
  • Text enlargement up to 130% without breaking the page; works on phones and with zoom.
  • Stopping animations — in the accessibility menu, and automatically for anyone who set it in their operating system.
  • Link underlining in the accessibility menu.

Known limitations

  • The live round table is a visual illustration; everything in it is also shown as text in the activity feed and the full discussion.
  • Documents uploaded by users (PDFs, photos) are outside our control and may not be accessible.

Accessibility contact

  • Having difficulty? We are happy to help and fix it. Use the contact form with the topic "Accessibility" — we reply within 5 business days.
  • Accessibility coordinator: to be named before the service opens to the public.
